Eragon is a third-person, fixed camera action adventure game based off of the plot of the movie of the same name. One or two players can fight as Eragon through the world of Alagaesia, with drop-in drop-out coop support. In addition to lots of fighting combos and team attacks, the player can unleash magical attacks on his enemies. There are also a number of dragon flying levels, with the player(s) controlling the powerful Saphira as she cleaves through hordes of enemies. The 360 version of this title contains additional levels and enemies.

An ancient prophecy states that King Fudd the Bewildered will die peacefully, his daughter accompanying him during his last hour. However, Princess Lorealle the Worthy mysteriously disappears, abducted by her stepmother Morgana, who intends to put her own daughter on the throne. In order to prevent the princess from being rescued by a valiant knight, Morgana makes sure that the Union Hall selects the most unworthy one for this valiant task: Eric the Unready, known for bringing the book "How to Joust" to his duels.

Eric the Unready is a humorous text adventure with graphics, similar in concept to Legend's own Spellcasting series. Like in those games, the player can select combinations of verbs and objects from a list to interact with the environment, but is encouraged and sometimes required to type commands as well. Some scenes display full-screen character portraits with pre-set dialogue choices. The game often makes verbose humorous comments on the player's actions, including many completely optional and arbitrary ones. It contains many segments that parody various aspects of contemporary pop culture as well as other video games.

Escape Dead Island

Escape Dead Island is a spin-off from the main Dead Island series, outside of the main canon, and it is done by a different developer. Unlike the main series it is played from a third-person perspective. The visuals are changed to a cel shaded look with action words that appear on the screen similar to comic books. In this survival action game the player controls Cliff Calo who travels with two friends to the Banoi archipelago, mainly the Narapela island, to investigate the reports about strange events there. His main goal is to gather evidence by taking pictures with his camera, proving the Geopharm corporation is active on the islands. The game's tutorial is set slightly before the rest of the game where the player controls the operative Kilo Two who infiltrates a Geopharm facility to discover the identity of the mole, two days before the outbreak. Xian Mei, from the main game series, also appears as a character in the game.

It does not have the open world design of the main games in the series, but a linear set of objectives. Many locations are blocked off until a specific point in the story. Many familiar elements return, such as the ravaged tropical setting with infected humans wandering about. Calo's mental state causes him sometimes to quickly move between locations or shows strange events. As an action game Calo is able to attack with melee weapons along with minor gunplay with a pistol and a shotgun because of the scarce ammunition. Groups of enemies cannot be attacked at once, so stealth has to be used regularly to sneak up and stealth kill them. Infected react to movement and sound. For melee attacks a fast and a heavy attack can be used, and these can be combined into combos. Calo is also able to dodge, crouch, sprint, kick, push infected out of the way, and target specific enemies.

Just like the original games you cannot attack endlessly as they drain a stamina meter near the bottom of the screen. After some attacks you regularly need to wait a few seconds until it is filled up again. Unlike the original game weapons cannot be customized and they are provided at certain points of the game. There are also no RPG-elements or an upgradable character system. Calo can use a rope and a grappling hook to move around, and keycards often need to be found to open doors.

For an inexplicable reason, an ordinary guy named Richard was thrown into Hell. Apparently, there has been some mistake, but it doesn't look like anyone is about to correct it - Richard's own Guardian Angel has left him a note in a telephone booth, making it clear that Richard can rely on no one but himself. The first thing he has to do is find companions (luckily, Hell seems to be a rather densely populated place), who would help him on his perilous journey through this very unpleasant place..

Escape from Hell is a role-playing game that uses the Wasteland engine. Richard's party navigates the top-down environments, encountering and interacting with characters, friendly and otherwise. Compared to Wasteland, the role-playing system is simpler, with more traditional leveling up and more focus on combat abilities. The skill system is present, but skills need to be acquired or learn from trainers rather than increased by repeated usage. Most of the skills are combat-oriented, though some (such as hacking, swimming, and others) apply to non-combat activities.

Despite its horror premise, Escape from Hell contains many comedic elements. Many of the weapons and other accessories have funny names, much of the dialogue is humorous, and characters who join Richard's party are popular historical or fictional figures such as Stalin, Genghis Khan, Hamlet, Mozart, and others.

Guybrush Threepwood has finally defeated the zombie pirate LeChuck, and married his sweetheart Elaine Marley. The happy couple is returning home from an exciting honeymoon. But as they arrive on Melee Island, they notice some very strange changes. A mysterious stranger who calls himself Charles L. Charles is organizing a campaign to become the next governor. The Australian businessman Ozzie Mandrill is turning the Caribbean into an attraction for tourists. And on top of that, Elaine's mansion is being demolished! Naturally, it's up to our hero to revert the things back to normal, even if that means traveling to exotic islands and solving puzzles on the way.

Escape From Monkey Island is a direct sequel to The Curse of Monkey island, and is the fourth game in the Monkey Island series. The gameplay relies mainly on inventory-based puzzles and branching dialogues, just like in the previous installments. The interface is similar to that of Grim Fandango: mouse is not used, and the interaction is done via context-sensitive commands that appear on the screen whenever you navigate Guybrush close to an object. The game utilizes pre-rendered backgrounds and 3D character models.
