Darkman
Based on the film by Sam Raimi. You play Peyton Westlake, returned from the dead as the many faced "Darkman", seeking your revenge against mobster Robert G.Durant. Live through all the high spots of the movie - the breathtaking helicopter fight sequence - the skyscraper shoot-out - dice with death as you swing into heaving freeway traffic dangling from a helicopter.
The Darkness
The Darkness is a first-person shooter based on the Top Cow comic of the same name. Jackie Estacado, a Mafia hit man in modern New York City, becomes possessed by an ancient evil on his 21st birthday. The curse has been passed down through the generations in his family to the first born, starting with his great great grandfather. Jackie is about to be taken out by the henchmen of Mafia don Paulie Franchetti when the curse grants him supernatural powers. He is able to eliminate the hit men and goes after Paulie next, as the Mafia don wants to kill his girlfriend Jenny Romano.
The game offers a mixture of classic first-person shooting with regular weapons, along with the powers of The Darkness. The latter cannot be used in well-lit environments. In dark areas, Jackie can combine both powers. Jackie can switch back and forth during gameplay, and as The Darkness, the viewpoint is placed lower, but with a broader point-of-view. Darkness powers allow Jackie to summon darklings (different types of creatures), summon dark tentacles that grow from his back to break through barriers and smash opponents, along with maw tentacles for close combat. Estacado can also create a black hole and force it to collapse on itself for wide-range damage, and summon darkness guns that fire lightning bolts.
The game takes place in a modern environment, but also in the fictional Otherworld and Hell. The Darkness manifests itself as a voice in Jackie's head and tries to gain complete control of the body. The force feeds on the dark and requires a live human body to exist.

The Darknes II
Jackie Estacado returns in the sequel to The Darkness. Jackie has been able to shut away the Darkness for two years, but a sudden attack of a rival gang makes him release the dark powers in order to survive. Jackie will set on a mission to uncover the mystery of the force behind the attackers. It's also somehow connected to Jenny, his murdered girlfriend that he still loves...
Handled by a different development studio, The Darkness II has a more straightforward FPS approach than its predecessor. Jackie is now able to shoot firearms and use the Darkness simultaneously. However, the dark powers disappear once Jackie steps into the light so it's important to eliminate light sources. Jackie's dark powers are upgradable with the use of 'dark essence' which is added after each kill.
In addition to the single player campaign there's Vendetta mode for up to four players. It offers a different story told along side Jackie's and four playable characters with unique weapons and abilities.
The graphics are produced using a cel-shading technique to emulate the visuals of the graphic novel.

Dark Sector
Dark Sector is an action game, in which the player assumes the role of Hayden Tenno, an elite black-ops agent, sent into Lasria, a small USSR country, tasked with the objective of destroying a virus that turns people into mutants and eliminating it's creator, Mezner.
Upon finding Mezner, Hayden is infected with the virus himself, mutating his right arm, which in turn gives him certain abilities, like turning invisible, creating shields and most importantly the ability to use the glaive, a special knife-like weapon that Hayden can use both in melee and ranged combat.
Next to the powers the infection grants him, Hayden can also use firearms, like shotguns or pistols, which can be taken from enemies or bought from the Black Market, and can also be modified.
Multiplayer has two different modes: Infection, where one players assumes the role of a fully mutated Hayden and the others hunt him down as ordinary soldiers and Epidemic, where two teams, each with their own Hayden, try to kill the other's mutant.
