Boxing Legends of the Ring lets you take control of eight middleweight legends of boxing, Roberto Duran, Tommy "Hitman" Duran, Jake "Raging Bull" La Motta, Rocky Graziano, "Sugar" Ray Robinson, "Sugar" Ray Leonard, "Marveleous" Marvin Hagler and James Toney. You can either compete in an exhibition mode or play in career mode and become the greatest of all time.

The set of punches in the game is pretty much standard, jab, hook, uppercut, even the ever popular but illegal low blow. Also, for each round and every knockdown you score on an opponent, you get a super punch, a straight shot to the face and is almost unstoppable and connected right could knock out your opponent, but if you miss, you lose your punch for the round.

There are two main displays during a fight, a damage inflict meter in the form of two boxing gloves, one on each side and as a player connects a punch, the glove will show a black area of where the glove connected and a damage meter that show's the two fighters faces. As the round progresses, the fighter shows more bruises and cuts and starts to flash red when the fighter is getting tired and is the best time to land your super punch.

Another feature is from round to round, your view will alternate, from looking over your shoulder to the next round and looking at yourself over your opponents shoulder.

Bram Stoker's Dracula is the title given to a number of games based on the 1992 film of the same name. Gameplay for each game varies greatly from platform to platform, but they all retain a similar plot based on the movie. The 16-bit console versions are side-scrolling hack-and-slash games.

The player controls a young lawyer named Jonathan Harker. Harker must free himself from Dracula's capture, follow him to London, and end his reign of terror.

Breakdown

A vast underground complex was discovered in Japan. Unexpectedly, an entire race of creatures, known as the T'lan, was found dwelling there, guided by a mysterious being called Nexus. The humans built a research facility near the underground complex, called Site Zero, and sent soldiers to protect the researchers and ensure that the fragile peace between humans and T'lan will last. As Derrick Cole awakens in a recovery facility near Site Zero, he fails to remember anything from his past. Apparently, he was injected T'langen, a fluid that was taken from the T'lan, which has unexpected effects on human organism. As the war between the humans and the T'lan begins, Derrick must first of all find a way to escape, with both sides being hostile to him, unaware of the role he will play in the future of both races.

Breakdown is a first-person action game. Though Derrick can use firearms, it is not entirely a FPS; much of the game's combat relies on melee moves and combos that Derrick learns, turning the game into a "first-person fighter". An unusual feature of the game is the completely physical interaction with the environment, which strives to be realistic. In order to force Derrick to pick up ammo, operate an object, eat food to restore health, etc., the player has to physically move the controller, imitating corresponding real-life movements.

Brink
Brink Windows Front Cover   Brink Windows Back Cover

Brink is a multiplayer shooter set in a future in which almost the whole earth is flooded by water. The Ark is one of the last inhabitable places left, but there is a conflict between the security guards and the resistance. Now they are in open conflict and try to get the upper hand. The game features two single-player campaigns, but those are practically the same as the multiplayer, just with bots and cutscenes.

Every map has several areas, all with their own goals. Of course the goals of security and resistance are opposed, so for example in one area the security first has to blast the gate to the rebel hideout and the resistance has to foil their plan while pursuing their own goals. All those goals need the use of one of the four classes: the soldier is responsible for brute force, medics heal their buddies, engineers can use gadgets and agents hack computers. Overall there are four basic mission types (escorting, destroying, defending and using a device) along with class specific goals. Brink utilizes an automatic mission system, meaning if a player soldier starts the mission "planting a bomb", all other players receive the mission to defend him. Performing those missions rewards experience points which can be used to upgrade the player characters and unlock new abilities for them.

Overall the focus in this game lies on teamwork, and there are many ways for the classes to help each other out. If there is the need for a specific class, the player can always change his class from an in-game terminal. When creating a new character, the game offers many options for individualizing; but this has only optical effects. The one exception is the body measures; a big guy can use big guns while a light character is faster. The latter has also access to the so-called "SMART" system, which allows to climb over obstacles or sliding over the ground when holding a button.

Britney's Dance Beat

Britney Spears is holding dance auditions for her next concert. Choose from a variety of dancers and go compete to win a spot as Britney's own dancers. Play with some of her hits such as: Oops, I Did It Again, Baby One More Time, I'm A Slave 4 U, and more. You go head to head against other dancers. Successful combos result in an attack against your opponent. Gameplay is set on a radar type object that spins clockwise. Buttons will appear and you have to time it and press it when the radar passes through it. Gameplay on the Windows version differs quite a bit. It is more like DDR where arrows will scroll up and you have to press them when they reach the top. Unlock music videos and concert footage.

Broken Sword 2 : the Smoking Mirror
Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror Windows Front Cover  Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror Windows Back Cover

Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror is the sequel to Circle of Blood and the second game in the Broken Sword series.

The player alternately controls George Stobbart, the protagonist of the first game, and Nicole Collard, the French journalist he met in the first game and who has since become his girlfriend. The game starts with George witnessing the kidnapping of Nicole. This event eventually leads to an investigation into a conspiracy revolving around a forthcoming solar eclipse and the evil Aztec god Tezcatlipoca. The locations visited throughout the game include Paris, Marseilles, London, Quaramonte, the jungle, a Caribbean environment, and a zombie island. Certain locations from the previous game make a return.

The game is entirely in 2D and gameplay is in typical point-and-click fashion. The player moves the character around using the mouse, examines the environment, talks to other people, and collect items stored in an inventory. These items need to be used or combined with other items to solve puzzles.

Broken Sword : the Sleeping Dragon
Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Windows Front Cover Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon Windows Back Cover

No less than six years have gone by before the third installment in the Broken Sword series saw the light of day. The first two games (The Shadow of the Templars and The Smoking Mirror) delved into the Knights Templar and Mayan mythology. This time, George Stobbart and Nico Collard are after the Voynich Manuscript to unravel its mysteries.

The Sleeping Dragon moves away from the 2D point-and-click concept from the earlier games and features a full 3D world, with a camera that does not rotate, but uses fixed cinematic perspectives, combined with full 5.1 sound. For the Windows version the game is no longer controlled through the mouse, but now through the keyboard, for the movement of the characters as well as all the actions. The player alternately controls George or Nico. Next to typical adventure gameplay such as exploration, conversations, and searching and combining items, there are also a few action sequences. The characters can duck, sneak, hang from ledges and move crates to reach higher areas.

The locations visited throughout the game include The Congo, Paris, England, Czech Republic and Egypt.

Broken Sword 5 : the Serpent's Curse
Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse PlayStation 4 Front Cover  Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse PlayStation 4 Back Cover

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse is a classical point & click adventure. It abandons 3D graphics and direct control which were used in the two predecessors and returns to the style of the first two games. The only major technical differences are a higher resolution and that the characters are modelled instead of drawn. Like every Broken Sword game the plot is inspired by historical events: everything centers around the painting La Maledicció. George Stobbart and Nicole Collard witness as a masked man steals La Maledicció and kills the gallery owner. Both have their motivations to solve the crime - George works for the painting's insurer, Nico is a reporter and the police are incompetent - and so they unravel a conspiracy which is somehow connected to the Gnostic Gospels.

The game uses an intelligent mouse cursor: a right click on a hotspot results in looking at the item and a left click triggers an item-specific action. Of course this is the main ingredient of the puzzles: collecting items and using them on other items in order to solve problems. On some occasions there are also logic puzzles from a zoomed-in view on an object, e.g. connecting cables of an engine in order to repair the car's horn. Another important part of the game are conversations with the various characters, some of them known from previous instalments. During the course of the game the controlled character switches between George and Nico. A help function supports players who are stuck.

The original release only included the first half of the game and the second half was patched in later. The first half is set in Paris with two trips to London. The Vita version was released as a bundle (listed here) and also with the first episode separately (listed along the Android/iOS version).

Retail PlayStation 4 releases include an 8-page color prologue comic in place of the manual.

Brothers in Arms : Road to Hill 30

Brothers in Arms, one of the few games to truly be based on actual events, places you in the shoes of real-life World War II Sergeant Matt Baker, tasked with commanding your squad through a week's worth of actual battles that Baker's 101st Airborne platoon faced. Combining the cinematic action of games such as Medal of Honor and Call of Duty with the strategic command of Full Spectrum Warrior, you must command your troops to use actual army doctrine to find, fix, flank, and finish the enemy while actually participating in the battle yourself.

Barely seven months after the release of Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, Gearbox brings us the sequel.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood tells the story of Corporal Joe "Red" Hartsock as one of the thousands of paratroopers who landed in Normandy, France, on the eve of D-Day. Hartsock made an appearance in the previous game and now we get to see the events from his point of view, based on actual events and persons.

Though the game engine remains largely unchanged, the A.I. has been significantly improved to offer a more challenging experience as the player tries to advance through the treacherous area known as the Bocage. The player fights in first person as Hartsock but also commands either two fireteams or a fireteam and a tank as using cover and suppression fire is critical to success.

The game also offers an interesting multiplayer mode with the rare single-mission co-op option available for the PC, as well as skirmish maps and other mods such as "Defense".

Brothers in Arms : Hell's Highway
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway Windows Front Cover  Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway Windows Back Cover

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is the third installment of the Brother in Arms series and takes place four months after "Operation Overlord".

The player once again takes over the control of Staff Sergeant Matthew Baker and his squads as they take part in "Operation Market Garden". With the goal to secure multiple bridges, three airborne divisions were dropped into the Netherlands behind enemy lines on the 17th September 1944 - one of which was the 101st Airborne Division, Matt Baker's unit. The game tells the story of him and his squad assaulting and securing Eindhoven and the subsequent defense of the surrounding area against the German counter-attacks.

As in the previous games the player, in 1st person perspective or via tactical map, orders his squad around the map from cover to cover, ordering them to suppress the enemy and planning a flank attack to take the enemy position out, always advancing to the next objective. But to spice things up a bit, there isn't just an assault team waiting to be controlled. In some missions the player gets access to more specialised machine gun or bazooka teams. Especially the latter is very useful now since cover can be destroyed with enough fire power. There are also missions in which the player has control over a tank or has to fulfill the objective completely on his own.

Like in Rainbow Six: Vegas the player can also now do a move called "Dig in" at each cover. This will switch the camera to a 3rd person view and make the character invulnerable to enemy attack (as long as the cover isn't destroyed). From this position he can blind fire or look over the cover to get the kill with the improved combat system which doesn't rely that much on flanking the enemy anymore since every part of an enemy can now be hit if it's visible. And if the player makes an especially impressive shot (long distance head shot for example), the game switches to a slow-motion action cam, showing the hit in every gory detail. Another change is the new health system. As opposed to a fixed amount of health, the characters now regenerate health automatically if not under fire.

The game also features a team-based multiplayer mode for up to 20 players in which the teams either have to capture flag points or defend these points or eliminate the whole opposition to win the round.
