Deadly Creatures
In Deadly Creatures, the player alternates between controlling a spider and a scorpion on their quest through a world from their unique viewpoint just above the ground. The game's mysterious story follows two humans, always up above the critters and takes place in the desert and a gas station.
The game is essentially a fighting game, with the Wii-remote and nun-chuck being used for various special moves to defeat the mostly insect foes. During the course of the game, points are earned for defeating enemies, which in turn unlock new moves for both the spider and the scorpion. Each of the animals has its own distinct moves. For example, the spider can shoot webs or jump, while the scorpion uses its deadly sting and digs through holes in the walls. Also, the level design leans heavily on the ability of both creatures to walk along walls.
Within each stage, there are several save points, usually just before a boss fight. Health is replenished by eating grass hoppers. Regular ones only restore a small amount of health, while the rare green ones increase the maximum health of the animal. Grubs can also be found all over the levels, eating a certain number of them gradually unlocks bonus concept art galleries.

Deadly Moves
You are Joe, a young American who has been secretly training to become a powerful fighter. One day, he meets an old martial artist who tells him he should travel all over the world to meet other teachers and to learn from them. During his travels, Joe encounters many other fighters, and has to become more and more skillful in order to prove that he is the greatest fighter in the world.
Unlike most other fighting games, you can control only one character (Joe) in single-player mode. In two-player mode, you can choose to fight as any of the seven available fighters, and also choose a scenery. The game plays like a standard 2D fighter: you can punch, kick, and jump on you opponents, but the fights are not entirely 2D, since you can also take a few steps vertically.

Deadly Premonition
Greenvale is a small, peaceful town somewhere in the northern United States. The sudden and brutal murder of a young girl draws the attention of FBI agent Francis York Morgan, a man with an unclear past, a split personality named Zach, and a personal interest in cases like this. York comes to Greenvale to assist local law enforcement in solving the murder, whether they like it or not, but things aren't nearly as simple as they might seem at first. Strange red seeds, a mysterious man in a red raincoat, and the secrets held by those in the town...
Deadly Premonition is a survival horror mystery game with open-world elements. The player controls Agent York as he investigates the mysterious circumstances in Greenvale. Greenvale itself is a large, open town that can be freely explored on foot or in a vehicle, with a slightly-accelerated day/night cycle dictating when shops are open, when people are available to talk to, and when missions to drive the story forward are available. York himself must eat and sleep (or at least drink coffee), as well as shave regularly and wash his clothes when they get dirty. There are shops and restaurants around Greenvale where items and weaponry can be purchased.
York has a variety of weapons at his disposal. His basic weapon is an FBI-issue pistol which has infinite ammo, but there are also a variety of other firearms available including machine guns and revolvers, each of which has its own strengths against different types of enemies. There are also a variety of blunt and bladed weapons, including knives, crowbars, and golf clubs. He can also evade enemies by running or holding his breath, but while doing these his pulse rate will rise, and if it goes too high he will get tired and be unable to move quickly for a short period of time.
Many of the story missions feature an element called "profiling", in which the player must collect evidence in order to piece together what happened in that area. As evidence is collected, the images in the scene become clearer, until all the evidence is collected and York becomes sure of what happened.
In addition to the main story missions, there are also a large variety of side missions. York can go fishing, as well as take part in time trial races or even play a game of darts. There are missions for many of the characters offering various rewards, and there are also dozens of hidden trading cards to collect. He can also purchase new suits, and even vehicle.

Dead or Alive
The first in the Dead or Alive series, and features many of the same features that has made the DoA series so popular today; somewhat realistic combat, good character design, and scantily clad women whose breasts bounce a lot.
The game doesn't mess too much with a background story- it's a 3D one on one fighter that takes place within an arena of limited space. Each character has their own unique way of fighting, their own abilities, and even their own hobbies and likes. (For example, Ryu Hayabusa- yes, he of Ninja Gaiden fame- likes sushi, mountain climbing, and fishing.)

Dead or Alive 2
The arcade conversion adds an improved tag feature, with new stadiums to fight in, new character moves to play with, and plenty of windows, walls and ledges to fall over and crash through. Unlike Tekken Tag Tournament, however, DOA2 also includes a single player mode, a dodge button (allowing you to move left and right away from attacks), and multi-level arenas.
Dead or Alive 3
Dead Or Alive 3 is a fighting game exclusive to the Microsoft Xbox. It features 16 characters (3 of them new), hidden extras, specular lighting effects, volumetric fog and grass, clothing and muscle movement that accurately responds and interactive environments.
Up to four players can fight in DoA3's Tag Battle mode.

Dead or Alive 4
The fourth installment in the Dead or Alive series (excluding Beach Volleyball) continues in a similar vein of fighting game. Delivering another dose of combo heavy action set in a variety of highly interactive locations.
With Helena assuming control over DOATEC an eclectic cast of fighters from all corners of the world all battle each other for some personal goal. Each character has vastly different, and often unusual, motives.
In the main game's story mode each character fights through a series of encounters, often with a bizarre context eg. taking exception to cruelty to a T-Rex and a fight over a fresh lettuce are both examples of the rather odd but still hilarious Japanese humour.
XBOX Live support allows players to watch fights while waiting for their turn in the arena. VOIP is also supported, as with many Live games.
Featuring a graphical upgrade and an improved fighting system (tested by some top DOA players before release) Dead or Alive 4 is aimed not only at the older DOA players, but enticing new gamers due to the less intimidating control system, and giving slightly less advantage to the experienced.
