Search for the Titanic is an oceanographic simulation. You begin as an inexperienced oceanographer. You must build your reputation by exploring other lost vessels and earning the resources for a Titanic search. You plan, obtain funding, a ship, personnel, and equipment. Then chart a course and battle elements and dive for wrecks. Includes over 75 wrecks to explore, more than 100 navigational maps and charts and 47 ports of call. Find the Titanic and you will see real photos. Use simulated Sonar and underwater cameras.

 In Sea Rogue you assume command of a five person treasure hunting team that searches possible underwater sites for sunken treasure and artifacts. Sea Rogue allows the player to train the crew for different roles, for example divers that search the wreck while trying to stay out of the way of sharks, scientists that conduct research and examine historical artifacts and engineers that take care of the mechanical operation of your ship or submarine. Real-life shipwrecks are present in the game, including the Titanic. Of course, you have a rival for most of the game who is known as 'Evil Eddy' - the richest man in the world - and the goal of the game is to beat Eddy by becoming rich enough to purchase the ultimate submarine: the Sea Rogue.

 This is an adventure game in a similar vein to Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego, although the questions deal with additional topics besides geography (science, weather, history, etc.). And instead of pursuing a variety of henchmen leading-up to Carmen SanDiego, each puzzle is just another step towards stopping Dr. Data.
