Nickelodeon Aaahhh!! Real Monsters
Nickelodeon: Aaahh!!! Real Monsters Genesis Front Cover   Nickelodeon: Aaahh!!! Real Monsters Genesis Back Cover

In this game, based on popular Nickelodeon comics, you control three monsters: Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm. The Gromble, a headmaster in monster school, needs you to perform the final test - monster Midterm Exam - in order to prove yourselves to be real monsters. You should collect trash, throw it on people, and scare them!

This is a platform game, where you control three characters. Each one of them has a special move that is often used to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles: Ickis can fly for a short time, Oblina can reach high ledges, and Krumm can scan off-screen areas. They can also collect monster books, that will teach them to scare people. Help the three monsters to graduate!

Nickelodeon GUTS

Nickelodeon GUTS is based off of the Nickelodeon TV show in the late 90's that is basically American Gladiators for kids. The events in the game are based off of the actual game show events with the main goal being to score as many points as possible while trying to beat the clock.

In Elastic Sports, the player is strapped onto a long bungee cord and is bounced around. There are three events: Slam Dunk is a basketball game, Attack is lacrosse and Spiral where the objective is to throw a football through a hanging tire.

Action Sports is an obstacle course which someone would find at a boot camp and is divided into two events: Basic Training involves poles, swinging ropes and punching bags and Tornado Run which adds water jets and moving platforms. Players can also pick up bonus items that will add time or replenish health and a chance at the bonus round.

The final event is the Aggro Crag which is a giant indoor mountain the player must climb while avoiding various obstacles such as confetti cannons, moving platforms and smoke vents. The goal of this event is to navigate the mountain and activate five different sensors located on the mountain before being able to activate the last one at the very top of the mountain.

There is also an option for two friends to compete either head-to-head or alternating depending upon the event. Elastic lets the players compete against each other on a split-screen while Action Sports and the Aggro Crag has to be played through alternating play.

Arc Developments created a 3D game world called Reality3 for this simulation, licensed around one of Britain's top players. There are two courses, plus a hidden 9-hole course on Mars with reduced gravity, with match play and stroke play options against one of 8 varied-difficulty computer players.

The control system is quite unusual, as the strength of the shot is chosen before you start the swing, but you have to click within a range to activate the shot, and this range is narrower if your shot is intended to be more powerful. An extra click can be made to add wrist snap, which increases the shot's power. The wind calculation is more complicated than most games of the era, and the rough is harder to play out of than usual, as you can't make slight stance adjustments easily.

NieR : Automata

NieR: Automata is an action RPG set several thousand years after the original NieR. Living machines from another world invaded Earth and the remnants of humanity fled to the moon. Since then have been sending android units back to Earth, to fight proxy wars against the machines, until it becomes safe to return. This game follows three units from the YoRHa android series: a battle unit named 2B, a recon unit named 9S, and an older prototype unit named A2.

Battles are fought in the overworld. The active character can use a variety of different attacks, and may use one of four different weapon classes. Weapons may be switched during combat to create combo attacks. The character also has a Pod, a flying robot that launches automatic ranged attacks and can use different types of programs. As robots, the main characters may install plug-in chips in order to grant buffs and other helpful attributes. A character may have a finite number of chips equipped at once as each one requires an amount of storage, but it is possible to save different configurations and switch on the fly.

RPG elements include various quests of which many are optional and an experience based leveling system where enemies generally level up to match the player's character level. Weapons and pods can be upgraded multiple times when the needed materials have been gathered. There are also various support items and shows where items can be sold and bought. Plug-in chips can be sold or fused for a price, making them stronger but often at the cost of additional storage.

Next to the main gameplay there are many flying shooter sections often involving 'bullet hell' environments. It is also often possible to hack opponents, which is presented as a different type of shooter mini-game. The game uses a story that is told over the course of several playthroughs, sometimes retelling moments but with another protagonist, or experiencing events before or after the main story. This leads to many different types of endings, including many joke endings where the game ends prematurely. There is no multiplayer, but network connectivity allows a character to retrieve items from fallen characters in the same area or revive the character as a temporary ally. A specific ending also involves network interactivity between players.

There is a save system along with a transporter to hop quickly between locations. Just like in the original NieR it is possible to ride animals as well to get around quickly. When a character dies, the body remains at that location along with a large selection of equipped plug-in chips. The player then has one chance to retrieve the body and the chips, because another death causes the body and the chips to vanish.

Nigell Mansell World Championship Racing

Timing smiled on Gremlin with this licensed Formula 1 simulation, as Nigel's long quest for a championship had finally come good. The game was pitched somewhere in between a full-blown simulation like F1 GP and action games like Continental Circus. Only 12 cars were in each race, which could last from between 3 and 20 laps.

Before each race you can customize wing downforce, gear ratio, tyre selection and fuel load choices – pitstops are a standard feature of the longer races. The 16-bit versions include a unique 'Improve With Mansell' mode, in which a digitized version of Nigel's head appears in the top corner of the screen, offering instructions and praise.

Night at the Museum : Battle of the Smithsonian

Explore a side of the Smithsonian that you've never seen before in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Based on the Ben Stiller movie, gameplay takes the player from the New York Museum of Natural History to the campus of the Smithsonian. The spell of Ahkmenrah's magic tablet has brought the inanimate exhibits of the Smithsonian to life, and Larry must restore order to the chaotic museum. Players control Larry Daley (Stiller), who must retrieve the tablet of Ahkmenrah from the clutches of the evil Kahmunrah.

While basic movement mechanics (running, jumping, climbing) are used, major gameplay mechanics focus on the use of Larry's "ritual tools of office", his keychain and flashlight. These items are enhanced by the power of Ahkmenrah's tablet, which gives Larry new abilities. With the enhanced keychain, Larry can climb to greater heights, swing across wide gaps, and swing the chain quickly to create a shield. The enhanced flashlight will allow Larry to empower mechanical devices, repair broken objects, tame wild animals, and even summon lightning. Players will use these abilities to complete objectives across multiple museums.
