Viewtiful Joe
Joe is your normal everyday guy, watching movies and hanging out with his girlfriend, Silvia. But when Silvia is sucked into a movie reel by an evil force, Joe's life is turned upside down. It's up to you to take everyman Joe and turn him into a superhero to end all superhero's and save his girl.
With a heavy dose of comic book visuals, Viewtiful Joe is an action-heavy 2D side-scroller inside a 3D world, that will have you using the amazing abilities of the hero in question as you slice and dice the many enemies on screen with VFX special moves, such as Slow and Mach Speed. You'll have the chance to earn 'Viewtifuls', which will boost your abilities with new killer moves and special items. You'll need them as you progress further into the seven episodes and big bosses at the end of each.

Joe's back, and his girlfriend has come along for the ride, in the sequel to the surprise hit Viewtiful Joe. Once again the side-scrolling action is frantic as you battle through the themed based levels and taking out the enemy with a combat techniques like no other.
Silvia is ready to play and join the mission, bringing her pompoms and projectile weapons along with her. Joe also has a few new tricks up his sleeve along with some added VFX abilities, including the Replay, where you can record a certain move and play it over three times for a killer blow or a bonus health boost. Another new features is V-Touch, allowing you to switch between the two characters during play, also an important feature to solve some of the puzzles along the way.

The game takes place in the Western United States during a time of world-wide oil shortage in 1976. An organization known as OMAR (Oil Monopoly Alliance Regime) was making money off the shortage everywhere except in the United States. OMAR hires the best terrorist that $100 million could buy: Sid Burn. His job, aided by five hired Coyotes, is to destroy all gas refineries in the southwest of the U.S. so OMAR can bring the country to its knees. When gas prices went wild, six civilians who called themselves Vigilantes, led by the truck driver Convoy, began fighting against the Coyotes in different areas to keep OMAR from succeeding.
Vigilante 8 is a vehicular combat game similar to Twisted Metal in concept. Players can choose from eight characters with different agendas, and select vehicles ranging from classic 1970's muscle cars to a school bus, each stacked high with various kinds of weapons. Unlockables include two hidden levels (three in the Nintendo 64 version) and five hidden characters and cars. Multiplayer is also included: the PlayStation version allows two players (four in the Nintendo 64 version) to go head-to-head.

Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer
In 1999 a massive earthquake levels Tokyo, killing nearly all the population and forcing the government to move its capital onto a man-made island off of the coast of Japan where for years they lived in peace. However, in the year 2017 violence begins to erupt between citizens coincidentally enough when a new principal arrives at the National Belnar Institute, the largest university on the island. Around this time a student also arrives by the name of Isato Kaiza, who is secretly the hero of the game Gowcaizer. He arrives with a stone that can manifest energy that allows him to transform. With this stone, he must discover the source of the evil and bring peace back to Japan.
The main gameplay aspect is a 2D fighting game (one on one) which SNK is mostly known for. The player can choose from 10 different characters each with their own unique moves and abilities. One feature that this game has over other games in the genre is the ability to add a defeated foes special abilities to their own repertoire, however they can only do one move at a time and if they choose to change a move, the previous one is lost for the rest of the game. Additionally, when the player defeats their mirror image their move will be amplified. The player will face each opponent twice in a tournament style before reach the final boss at the end of the game.
